Today I led another wonderful workshop at Boesner

Today I led another wonderful workshop at Boesner in Mainz on printmaking techniques. I showed participants how to make printing plates from Tetrapak and print with them. The participants were so productive and created fantastic prints. Thank you for the great work! It was so much fun!

Heute leitete ich wieder einen wunderschönen Workshops bei Boesner in Mainz in Drucktechniken. Ich zeigte den Teilnehmern wie man Druckplatten mit Tetrapack herstellt und mit diesen druckt. Die Teilnehmer waren so produktiv und haben tolle Druckergebnisse erzeugt. Danke für die tolle Arbeit! Es hat so viel Spaß gemacht!

Yesterday at my #cyanotype #workshop, I reworked my images printed with #Tetrapack gravure plates using wet cyanotype. But since cyanotype still continue to darken, the bird of prey and the #magpie were too dark. So I lightened some areas again with baking soda and warm water. This works great, but it works very quickly and you have to be careful that it doesn't completely even out the areas. Try it out, it creates great effects!

Today, a friend and I built a printing box for the pasta machine. It makes printing so much easier! It now works great for all small A5 Tetrapack prints and will be a huge help in my workshops! The dogs Dura and Ayden were great assistants! Thank you, Jürgen.

Many thanks to the jury for an competition of @kinderpalliativzentrum In Datteln, Germany, where I participated with my cyanotype guardian angel and was selected as one of the 25 winners! Such a wonderful project, which can give parents some light and hope in their difficult times. It was an honor to participate.
