This is a #cyanotype print on cotton, combined with #Tetrapack print of a #magpie, sewed together and embellished with dried Plants.
Size 40x40 cm.

I sewed my Tertapack prints of the heron onto diff

I sewed my Tertapack prints of the heron onto different fabrics and used the sewing needle to "draw" or embroider the plants. I think the combination of two different techniques is fantastic!" The focus is also on recycling milk or juice cartons from Terapack and fabric samples that I got from a men's outfitter. The heron pictures are being created for an exhibition on 25/27.10.24 in Wiesbaden @tatortekunst in our Atelier with my fellow artist @ann_eaty and @dirkbroemmel

I am using a combination of intaglio printing with Tetrapack and textile art.
I find that the etchings then take on a different value because they are sewn onto recycelt fabric.
